Northern Spirit K9 Rescue depends on donations, volunteers and foster homes to ensure these animals have a second chance at life. We can only rescue these animals if we have foster homes for them to go to once rescued, so please consider becoming a foster home so more animals can be saved from the hardships of living out their lives hungry, neglected, and abused.
We know that every dog owner wants to keep their furry loved ones safe, seen and protected during the day, but even more importantly at night, when they need our care most. This is what inspired us to find the finest nighttime safety product. Introducing the Glow LED collar, the lighted dog collar that's revolutionizing the way dogs are seen and kept visible at night. Glow LED dog collars are the perfect way to keep your dogs seen and safe, whatever the conditions...along city streets, off leash in the park, on your property, out in the countryside or on the water.
We are a registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to
helping animals on First Nations Communities in Northern Alberta. We have been assisting
with the nourishment, medical attention, and education on First Nations Communities since April of 2008.
We are comprised of dedicated individuals committed to making a difference.
Northern Spirit K9 Rescue depends on donations and
sponsorship to ensure these animals have a second chance at life.
It all began with two individuals with big hearts, together they were
successful in saving over 350 dogs from the First Nations Communities and
helping many, many more with nourishment and medical attention.
Northern Spirit K9 Rescue began feeding hungry dogs at a local First Nations community where animal welfare was not a priority. With the help of food donations many owned and stray dogs on the First Nations communities have been fed. Due to the dedication of our volunteers the dogs have been fed on a weekly basis and after a few short weeks they appear to be healthier. Most of the dogs are not altered contributing to the dog over-population problem on First Nations communities. Our hope is that with your generous donations we can help control the over-population problem by starting a spay and neuter program for the community. More Info
