Our Wish List

We are always in need of doggie supplies as you can imagine, but there are a number of other items that would be very useful as well.

Any item donations, no matter how many or how few you may be able to spare, help us to maximize the number of these amazing and beautiful dogs that we are able to save.

We are also happy to hear from you if you have items you think might be useful to us that aren't on our list.

Northern Spirit K9 Rescue gratefully accepts donations of rugs, blankets, towels, leashes and collars, toys, treats and food. Donations of this type may be dropped off at Castledowns Veterinary Clinic, 10223 164 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5X 3C9 (780) 456-3616 or we will happy to pick up your donation(s). Donations

Support Northern Spirit K9 Rescue by making a donation to help us fulfill our mission of providing food, shelter, medical treatment and rescue to dogs on First Nations Reserves and in other areas.

Fostering

If you are interested in being a foster home for Northern Spirit K9 Rescue this is the process you can expect to be involved in. You will be asked to fill in a foster care application form and to sign a foster care contract. Northern Spirit K9 Rescue coordinators will contact you with further information and answer any questions you may have. If you will make a suitable foster home we will add you to our list of available foster homes.
Volunteer

Many people want to help out rescued animals but are limited due to time constraints, financial restrictions, or many other reasons. Here at Northern Spirit K9 Rescue, anyone willing to help us, is a welcomed support. Assisting with feeding of dogs on the reserves, driving dogs to their vet appointments, helping out at various fundraisers or functions, are just some of the many things that we require, to make the rescue run smoothly.
