Have You Every Considered Fostering?

Northern Spirit K9 Rescue is in great need of additional foster families to open their hearts and homes. All you have to offer is a safe indoor home, exercise, toys, and love. All food and if required medical expenses are covered by the rescue! More foster homes means more lives saved!

Northern Spirit K9 Rescue is a registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to provide food, shelter, medical treatment and facilities for neglected, abandoned, ill treated, unwanted and injured dogs on First Nations Reserves and other areas, and placing them in loving and caring homes. To re-home these dogs, wherever possible and, in particular, to provide and maintain foster homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals. To educate residents on the Reserves and in other areas in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among these animals and to help enhance the quality of life for these animals. To help provide a spay and neuter program on First Nations Reserves, and to assist in the education for residents on First Nations Reserves on the importance of spay and neuter of animals to help prevent over population.

We are committed to saving dogs of all ages that would otherwise be senselessly killed for the lack of a loving home.

Once a dog has come under our care we provide indefinite veterinarian and foster care until a suitable home can be found. Our NO-KILL policy ensures that every dog is eventually matched with just the right Furever Home.

The animals rely entirely on your donations to continue Northern Spirit K9 Rescue's work in helping the abused and neglected animals of our First Nations Communities.

We'll come straight to the point: You can eliminate one or more animal's pain and suffering by a simple and modest donation. Your personal contribution will help support our work.
