Northern Spirit K9 Rescue Service is starting a sponsorship program!
Have you fallen in love with a special pet on
our site or one that has pulled at your heartstrings?
Are you looking to help out a dog featured on our website from a First Nations Community or a dog in our foster program,
but don't think you can open
your home or don't have the time to give to a dog?
Some of the pets that Northern Spirit K9 Rescue Service rescues suffer from injuries or chronic illnesses, while others have been badly
abused and neglected. As a result, they need specialized medical treatment,
behavioral training and extra love and nurturing before they can find their own
permanent homes. These pets would likely be considered lost causes and destroyed as a result.
We realize that
sometimes it's just not possible to add a new pet to the family, either by adoption
or our foster program but if you
would still like to make a difference, sponsoring a reserve dog just
might be what you are looking for. Knowing that your funds are going to
the ongoing loving care of a certain dog to help with a spay/neuter, shots, surgery, or
daily upkeep is especially rewarding and is very much appreciated. To sponsor a
dog, just send in your donation, make note of which dog(s) you are interested in
sponsoring, if there is anyone you'd like the sponsor in honor of, if you want
your name to appear on our web site, or if you wish to remain anonymous. It's as
simple as that! You will receive updates, pictures and information about your
Special Buddy.
